Renewing Hearts: R.E. started out of a love for those who were effected by Hurricane Katrina. We want families throughout the New Orleans area to know that they are loved and have not been forgotten.

Rebuilding Homes: One of our goals here at R.E. is to put money into homes rather than into hands. We want to raise money in order to rebuild the homes of families who have gone through R.E.’s application process. After selecting families, we will decide what aspect of their house we will help rebuild. Then, with the money our contributors have generously given, we will buy doors, windows, a floor, or even pay a contractor to come in and work with them. We will help rebuild as an effort to encourage them. This effort will serve to encourage families by restoring both homes and lives.

Restoring Lives: Finally, our desire is to reach out to the families effected by natural disasters by not only rebuilding homes, but forming relationships. Our prayer is that, through the building of both relationships and homes, these families will continue to grow and feel restored.
